Ovarian fibrothecoma

MRI features of an ovarian mass histologically proven as a fibrothecoma.

Fibrothecomas are considered the most common benign solid ovarian tumour. It usually occurs in adult women, with ~66% in postmenopausal women. Larger tumours may be associated with ascites or even Meigs syndrome which may complicate ~1% of cases.
