Unenhanced CT images show an ossified lens-shaped lesion of the right iliac bone on its medial aspect. It represents the subacute phase of sub-periosteal haematoma with ossified periosteum on the sides of the haematoma (lytic lesion) and preserved iliac cortex which is called "ghost native cortex".
