This was initially reported as a pulmonary nodule and work-up with CT was recommended but was not acted on. A chest x-ray was performed 12 months later, demonstrating the absence of the "pulmonary nodule". On closer inspection, there are two central lucencies representing the stitching holes of a button and this "pulmonary nodule" is actually a button.
