Spurious color noise e.g. that due to flash artifact affects tissues unevenly, with hypo/anechoic structures being much more prone to it. Also, while an inappropriately high color gain is well-recognized cause of color flash artifacts a too low(!) color-write priority threshold can also result in a similar result.
