Small avulsion fracture at the lateral aspect of the lateral tibial plateau, in keeping with a Segond fracture. Possible deep sulcus terminalis sign of the lateral femoral condyle. Large joint effusion.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have an MRI (report reviewed, images not available) which confirmed an ACL tear and mild lateral femoral condyle subchondral edema. The patient returned to sport after ACL reconstruction and physical rehab.
