Aneurysmal dilatation of torcular herophili

Discussion:

Aneurysmal dilatation of the torcular herophili is a very rare entity which should not be diagnosed as an abnormality. Its radiological differential diagnosis includes dural arteriovenous fistula, vein of Galen malformation, sinus thrombosis, and meningioma. This could be differentiated from those possibilities by absence of feeding arteries or draining veins , and homogeneous post contrast enhancement.
