History of foreign body of the right foot. Bilateral feet pain and swelling overlying the 5th metatarsal heads.

Evidence of dense linear metallic structure in the region of the proximal fourth metatarsal bone of the right foot.
Bunionette deformity of bilateral 5th metatarsophalangeal joints.
No bony fracture.
Case Discussion
Bunionette deformity presents as a prominence of the 5th metatarsal head with overlying soft tissue swelling, varus deformity at the 5th metatarsophalangeal joint, and widening of the gap between the 4th and 5th metatarsal heads.
Bunionette deformity is also known as tailor's bunion or metatarsus quintus varus.
Both feet xray was obtained for this patient for pre-operative purposes.
