Info

Widening of right cerebellomedullary cistern with displacement of nearby vessels and nerves and scalloping of the adjacent lower part of petrous temporal bone, representing underlying cystic lesion. It follows CSF signal in all pulse sequences with free diffusion - features of arachnoid cyst.

Also noted is the descent of cerebellar tonsils below the foramen magnum, in keeping with Chiari I malformation.
