Para one plus zero gravida two now at fourteen weeks gestation for first trimester surveillance.
Patient Data





The anterior myometrium incidentally exhibit moderate focal thickening spanning an anterior posterior diameter of 4.5 cm with homogeneous to mildly heterogenous myometrial reflectivity bereft of focal solid or gross cystic lesions or significant myometrial varicoceles. The placenta is implanted/ formed fundal-posteriorly and is intact with homogenous echogenicity and with features consistent with grade 0 pattern maturity.
Singleton viable and normal intrauterine pregnancy in variable lie is present with normal nuchal translucency thickness (NT = 2.7 mm), visible nasal bone (NB = 3.9 mm) and normal limbs formation as well as the rest of the fetal structures.
Case Discussion
Incidentally chanced Braxton Hicks contraction at the antero-medial uterine myometrium in an early second trimester gestation. In this presentation, it was asymptomatic with the patient feeling no pains, or overt lumpiness at the lower abdomen as yet.
