Presentation
4 months of progressive leg weakness and distal sensory loss. Elevated CSF protein (2.9 g/L).
Patient Data

Thickening and enhancement of the lumbosacral nerve roots. No abnormal enhancement nor signal abnormality of the spinal cord. Normal CSF signal.
Minor disc degeneration at L4/5 and L5/S1, no neural compression.
No enhancement nor signal abnormality of the upper spine (not included).
Case Discussion
Thickening and enhancement of lumbosacral nerve roots, compatible with CIDP in this clinical circumstance. Nerve conduction studies also suggest CIDP. Paraneoplastic aetiology in differential but no evidence of primary elsewhere on imaging.
