Presentation
Left anterior knee pain for the last two days. No history of trauma.
Patient Data

There is an anechoic fluid collection at the site of pain pointed by the patient. The fluid is at the location of the deep infrapatellar bursa. The patellar tendon, Hoffa's fat pad, quadriceps tendon are normal. There is no effusion in the suprapatellar recess of the knee joint.
Case Discussion
A patient presented with a non-traumatic origin of anterior knee pain for the last two days. A radiograph was not done as the patient had 8 weeks of pregnancy. The ultrasound shows deep infrapatellar bursitis which correlates with the site of pain.
