Hyperdense basilar artery is noted - likely representing thrombus within basilar artery.

Case Discussion

The patient quickly deteriorated and collapsed probably due to underlying brainstem infraction. No further investigation was done.

Hyperdense artery sign is one of the early signs of stroke indicating large vessel occlusion and indication of endovascular retrieval of clot.
