DSA demonstrates the saccular aneurysm arising from the internal carotid artery. No intracranial aneurysm identified.

Case Discussion

Extracranial internal carotid artery aneurysms in the neck are much less common than intracranial aneurysms. This aneurysm was detected incidentally during staging imaging. There was no history to suggest this is a pseudoaneurysm and was presumed to be a true aneurysm.
