Moderate sized frontotemporal acute extra-dural haematoma causing ventricular effacement and midline shift.

Underling undisplaced frontotemporal skull vault fracture.

No contracoup injury.

Case Discussion

Textbook example of an extra-dural haematoma.

Lentiform or 'lemon' shaped and with an underlying fracture as is nearly always the case.
