Presentation

Workup for left knee joint pain during walking. No history of trauma is provided.

A well-corticated, small bone is seen at the postero-lateral aspect of the left knee joint.

The knee joint is within normal limits. Articular surfaces show no evidence of irregularity.

No osteophyte formation is seen. The rest of the visualised bones are unremarkable.

No gross abnormality of the soft tissues is seen.

Case Discussion

The left knee joint is grossly unremarkable except for incidental findings of fabella which is an accessory bone.
