Presentation
Prolonged cough and abnormal finding on a chest radiograph. No recent or past history of trauma.
Patient Data

CT chest performed to delineate mass lesion detected on the CXR
Nubbin of liver protruding through a defect in the right hemidiaphragm anteriorly. Note portal venous supply (on the coronal) and parenchymal density similarity to liver indicating that it is liver.

Well-defined soft tissue mass sitting next ot the right heart border with loss of the silhouette.
Case Discussion
Defect in the right hemidiaphragm anteriorly could either be congenital (Morgagni hernia) or traumatic, i.e. due to a previous episode of trauma when the partial rupture was not detected.
