Presentation
Diabetic female with complaints of diarrhea, abdominal low grade pain.
Patient Data

The gallbladder is overdistended and shows diffuse wall odema. There is a 4mm defect of the medial gallbladder wall with a 12 x 7 mm collection abutting the defect.
There is a significant amount of sludge in the lumen along with a small, 4mm calculus.
The common bile duct is normal in caliber without calculus.
Liver is normal.
Case Discussion
Cholecystectomy was done.
Intra-operative findings (provided by verbal communication with operating surgeon): the site of the gallbladder perforation was as described in the ultrasound report. The perforation site was sealed with omentum. On displacing omentum, pus drained out from gall bladder.
