There is a 4x7 mm well-defined cyst with the fluid equivalent signal at the level of the first metacarpophalangeal joint in the volar side and adjacent to the respective fifth flexor tendon sheath A1 pulley.
Case Discussion
Ganglion cyst of the finger flexor tendon occurs more often in women (F:M = 2.6:1). The middle finger is the most commonly affected site and is located at the A1 and A3 pulleys in 69% of cases 1.
