Presentation
Early satiety, weight loss and worsening reflux symptoms.
Patient Data

A low attenuation mass with approximate measurements of 49 x 44 x 62 mm is seen arising within the head of pancreas. The mass is encasing the superior aspect of the second part of the duodenum, causing obstruction and marked dilatation of the first part of the duodenum and the entire stomach. The mass is also obstructing the pancreatic duct which is markedly dilated, and the body and tail of the pancreas is atrophic.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates a pancreatic head tumor causing gastric outlet obstruction.
Endoscopic biopsy: Poorly differentiated carcinoma with immunoprofile consistent with pancreatobiliary origin.
