Info

There is a soft tissue mass lesion seen at the right upper abdominal quadrant with target sign appearance of intussusception likely colo-colic.
Case Discussion
Surgical management confirmed the presence of hepatic flexure colocolic intussusception with an underlying mass that was histologically confirmed to be an ascending colon carcinoma.
Intussusception is not frequent in adults and usually occurs due to underlying pathology that acts as a leading point. Colon intussusception is associated with a malignant mass in up to 70% of the cases 1.
