The left atrial appendage is to the left of left atrium close to the left upper lobe pulmonary vein.
Here it is to the left of the left atrium between the aorta and main pulmonary artery.
No other congenital heart diseases.
Case Discussion
Incidental finding a of a juxtaposed left atrial appendage was diagnosed. No other congenital heart disease is seen. It is referred as juxtaposed if it lies on the same side of the great arteries, instead of encircling their roots.
