Vocal cord SCC - staging CT

CT neck show a small nodular thickening over the left vocal cord, abutting the thyroid cartilage.
There is an ill-marginated soft tissue thickening at level of tongue base involving right supraglottis, extending into vallecula and tonsillar fossa. It extends around the hyoid bone laterally into submandibular space involving submandibular gland and contains gas and fluid. The right submandibular gland is diffusely enlarged and heterogenous in density.
There is prominent right and left cervical lymphadenopathy.
Case Discussion
The patient underwent surgical excision of left vocal cord lesion. Histology revealed a moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. No tumour was identified in supraglottic specimens.
