Presentation
Blunt trauma, the patient fell and injured her occiput and left humerus.
Patient Data




Intact cranium and visualised facial bones.
There are innumerable lytic "punched out" lesions of varying sizes. The mandible is also involved.
The patient is edentulous.
Incidental behind-the-ear hearing aids bilaterally, on the frontal view (subsequently removed ).



Left humeral neck pathological fracture with impaction, and foreshortening. There are multiple lytic lesions within the distal left clavicle, acromion, humerus and proximal radius and ulna.
Case Discussion
A confirmed case of disseminated multiple myeloma with the pathognomonic skull X-ray findings also known as a raindrop skull and a pathological fracture of the left humerus.
