Presentation
Facial trauma and right side orbital pain, frontal and upper eyelid soft tissue swelling, and eye limitation in movement.
Patient Data

Comminuted displaced right orbital roof blow-in fracture, depressed fracture in right frontal sinus outer table, and preseptal soft tissue swelling and emphysema are seen. Displaced fractured bones have a pronounced impression on related superior rectus muscle and levator palpebrae superioris muscle conjoined tendon and right eye upper uveo-scleral layer. A haemorrhage within the right side frontal sinus is seen. Partially penetrated fractured bones within the upper medial margin of the lacrimal gland are also noted.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the relatively uncommon orbital roof blow-in fracture. This type of fracture can be complicated by dural injury and CSF leakage and/or brain injury.
