Incidental note of accessory ossicle distal to the ulna fovea.
Case Discussion
Accessory ossicles of the wrist are important to recognise. This ossicle is probably an os triangulare as it lies distal to the ulna fovea. It may be also be another accessory ossicle, the lunula, which appears in the TFCC but is typically distal to the tip of the ulna styloid.
Other differential diagnosis to be considered would be a persistent ulna styloid (if shortened/absent) or an (acute or chronic) ulna styloid fracture.
