The left MCA aneurysm coil ball causes significant artifact. Hypodensity of the posterior limb of the left internal capsule and posterior left mesial temporal lobe.

The small volume of SAH and IVH is reducing following aneurysmal rupture 3 days earlier.

The hypodensity is more obvious after 6 days.

Case Discussion

This case illustrates the arterial distribution of the anterior choroidal artery. Review of the DSA images after the case identified thrombosis of the left anterior choroidal artery.
