Presentation
Prior history of posterior fossa/occipital tumor resection. Now presents with posterior swelling.
Patient Data

Occipital and posterior fossa craniotomy with a bridge of preserved bone suprajacent to the transverse sinus.
Extruded brain tissue (part of left occipital lobe, and part of the left cerebellar hemisphere) through these bony defects. The extruded brain appears high on T2.
Case Discussion
Extrude brain tissue through the post-operative bone defect, in keeping with a post-operative encephalocele. Whether or not residual/recurrent tumor is also present is difficult to assess without further clinical information regarding the prior operation and diagnosis.
