Updates to Case Attributes

Body was changed:

US demonstrates enlarged thyroid gland which is largely replaced by heterogenous masses with marked hypoechogenicity. Neither significant vascularity nor calcification is seen. Multiple hypoechoic lymph nodes are seen.

CT scan pre contrast demonstrate loss of the inherit normal high density of the thyroid gland which is enlarged and replaced by hypo-dense masses. Post contrast study show enhancing septae within the non-enhancing enlarged thyroid gland. Multiple enlarged lymph nodes are seen as well.

PET CT show marked activity within the enlarged thyroid gland. Small active abdominal lymph node is seen as well.

Path proven thyroid lymphoma.
