Presentation
Elbow trauma after falling on the ground.
Patient Data

The full-thickness tear of triceps tendon measuring about 12 mm tendon gap is seen associated with retraction of the tendon, adjacent reactive soft-tissue oedema, and marked fluid collection measuring about 27 x 50 mm at the site of tearing.
Thickening and abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal is present along the course of common extensor tendon next to the insertion site on to the humerus lateral condyle related to partial thickness tear ( tennis elbow).
Case Discussion
The recent patient had a history of immobility, pain, and swelling on the posterior aspect of the right elbow after trauma. MRI shows triceps brachii tendon tear.
