Tuberculum sellae meningioma

Download
Info

A vividly enhancing mass, separate to the pituitary gland, arises from the tuberculum sellae. It severely elevates and stretches the optic chiasm, pushing the right optic nerve superolaterally and the left optic nerve inferolaterally. It appears quite vascular. Appearances are those of a meningioma.
Case Discussion
This mass was resected via an endoscopic endonasal approach and the diagnosis of meningioma was confirmed histologically.
