Presentation
History of distal bulbar gonococcal urethral stricture underwent surgical repair of the stricture and suprapubic cystostomy catheter insertion.
Patient Data

Normal appearance of the urinary bladder.
Focal stricture at the distal bulbar urethra.
Uretheral diverticulum is projecting from the posterior aspect of the distal urethra. A small amount of residual contrast remains in the post void series.
Case Discussion
Urethral diverticula are focal outpouchings of the urethra.
A urethral diverticulum is a cystic lesion that typically arises from the posterolateral mid/distal urethra. It often wraps around the urethra. It can be multilocular.
In the post void series, small residual urine/contrast remains within the diverticulum, which helps to differentiate it from similar lesions like Cowper's gland syringocele.
