Transient hepatic attenuation differences (THAD)

Discussion:

Transient hepatic attenuation differences may occur, among other things, as a result of portal vein thrombosis or arteriovenous (AV) fistula, which alter the regional blood supply to the liver. In this case ,the AV fistula developed either due to direct infiltration of hepatocellular carcinoma or as a consequence of radiofrequency ablation.
