Glomus tumor (glomangioma)

Discussion:

Typical features of a glomus tumor (glomangioma). The most important differential consideration is an epidermal inclusion cyst, but that would not be expected to enhance as this does, and is usually more anterior when in the distal finger. Very unlikely considerations would include synovial sarcoma and other extremity associated tumors since the lesion enhances so avidly.
