There is an endobronchial soft tissue mass at the bifurcation of the right upper lobe bronchus and bronchus intermedius. There is no evidence of extra bronchial extension. Again seen is hyperinflation of the right upper lobe with volume loss of the right middle and lower lobes.
There are no suspicious pulmonary nodules or enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes.
Carcinoid tumour was the favoured diagnosis. Mucoepidermoid and adenoid cystic carcinoma were provided as additional differential considerations.
