Can breast lesions be characterized by CT?
It depends on how you define characterization. CT is under certain circumstances able to characterize breast lesions as clearly malignant, e.g. revealing ulceration, invasion of underlying structures. Significant contrast enhancement may also suggest malignancy.
Would you report the breast lesion?
Actually you should. Incidental breast lesions are not uncommon findings on CT studies and formal triple assessment is warranted.
Incidental finding of right breast lesion, not spiculated.
Incidental mass in right adnexa, mostly resembling mature ovarian teratoma: mainly fat density, eccentric Rokitansky protuberance, wall and peripheral calcifications.
