List the signs and symptoms of hip impingement, also known as femoroacetabular impingement.

Will report maximal pain in the anterolateral hip (positive “C sign”). A reduced and painful range of motion, especially on internal rotation. Palpable or audible clicking, catching, or popping sound on a range of motion testing. Abductor muscle weakness, manifesting as an abductor lurch. Positive FADDIR test.

Presentation

Unilateral hip-impingement like symptoms with maximal pain and fatigability on hip abduction since birth.
