Seminal vesiculitis

Discussion:

The case presents typical features of seminal vesiculitis in the form of enlarged seminal vesicles with dilatation of their tubules, also with diffuse mural thickening, and enhancement of their walls and septae. The enlarged heterogenous likely inflammed prostate in our case is likely the cause of seminal vesiculitis.

Seminal vesiculitis is an inflammation of seminal vesicles. It's an uncommon condition.

Patients predisposed to vesiculitis are those with other inflammation elsewhere in the male genital tract such as chronic prostatitis, urethritis, or acute epididymitis.

Radiological features include seminal vesicle tubule dilatation and mural thickening and enhancement.
