Intercostal nerve schwannomas are also called intercostal neurinomas or neurilemmomas. They are well-encapsulated benign tumors of the intercostal nerve sheath. The differential diagnosis should include the pleural tumors. The treatment of choice is a surgical resection of a tumor.
