This patient had a known diagnosis of lung cancer and presented with a small bowel obstruction due to small bowel metastasis, which had an overlapping appearance of a small bowel adenocarcinoma. This diagnosis with confirmed at the time of surgery, which was required to relieve the obstruction. The appearance of the small bowel at first glance overlaps with a closed-loop as it courses through the abdomen, but only one single transition point is present.
