Respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartoma

Discussion:

This case demonstrates the typical appearance of bilateral respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartomas (REAH). They may be seen in isolation (as in this case) or in association with sinonasal polyposis or other masses. Nasal endoscopy revealed large bilateral yet contiguous masses within the superior nasal cavity. Biopsy and resection confirmed the diagnosis of respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartoma.
