The CT scan demonstrates:
- focal mural defect of the duodenal bulb (see annotated images) with adjacent fat stranding and small air-bubbles
- free air within the peritoneal cavity mainly around the liver and spleen (pneumoperitoneum)
- free fluid in the peritoneal cavity mainly in the pelvic region with mesenteric fat stranding and thickening of the peritoneal reflections
- paralytic ileus
