Post transplant lymphoproliferative disorder is most likely given the presence of a renal transplant. Monoclonal small bowel lymphomas do occur in patients with organ transplants but are less common.
In what context does post transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) usually occur?
Usually solid organ transplant (which are the most common transplants), although it is commonly seen in small bowel transplant also.
What is the most common location for PTLD?
Usually extranodal. Can affect almost any part of the body. Liver and lung are common.
