A non-displaced fracture is seen through the scaphoid waist
The proximal pole remains low in signal intensity on the T1-weighted coronal image.
On the fat-suppressed proton density-weighted coronal view, the proximal pole is edematous.
The findings are both suggestive of retained vascularity within the proximal pole.
Chip fracture is seen at the capitate bone distal pole, volar aspect and ulnar side.
TFCC central perforation is seen associated with fluid signal at the distal radioulnar joint.
Subcutaneous edema is also noted at the dorsal and volar aspects of the wrist.
