Radial ray anomaly

Discussion:

This case illustrates type IV radial ray anomaly with complete absence of both radii, associated with severely hypoplastic humeri on both sides.

Radial ray anomalies comprise of a large spectrum of upper limb anomalies which range from partial (radial hypoplasia) to a complete (radial aplasia) deficiency of the radius with or without accompanying deficiency of the thumb bones.

Radial ray syndrome may be associated with multiple syndromes such as Holt-oram, TAR or VACTRAL syndromes.
