Where was the likely site of impact in this patient?
Left parietal region, where there is a subgaleal haematoma and underlying skull fracture.
Right frontotemporal contusions with mild subfalcine herniation and small associated subarachnoid haemorrhage. There is a tiny amount of blood within the interpeduncular cistern, and also layering along the left brachium pontis.
The left parietal subgaleal haematoma and underlying skull fracture (without EDH) indicate that the traumatic impact was left posterior.
