Non-visualisation of the ACL fibers indicative of complete tear.
The PCL is swollen (measuring about 10 mm in maximum thickness ) with high signal intensity in T2WI compatible with a partial tear.
Posterolateral corner injury manifested by:
- Torn fibular collateral ligament and bicipes femoris tendon insertion.
- Torn popliteus tendon.
- Avulsion fracture of the fibular styloid process (arcuate fracture).
- Sprain of the popliteus muscle.
Grade I injury of the MCL.
Sprain of the medial and lateral heads of the gastrocnemius muscle.
Diffuse extensive subcutaneous and interstitial oedema.
Minimal joint effusion with pre & infra-patellar bursitis.
