Warthin tumors (bilateral)

Discussion:

CT neck showed bilateral parotid tail lesions, where the overall CT features are highly suggestive of bilateral Warthin tumors in view of their parotid tail location and multiplicity in bilateral parotid glands.

Both parotid glands are in close proximity to the retromandibular veins, which are anatomical landmarks for facial nerves position radiologically where the risk of facial nerve injury during surgery should be kept in mind and counseled.

Since the right parotid tail lesion has a size of more than 1 cm , which is a radiological cut-off dimension consider it a Warthin tumor rather than intraparotid lymph node.

Fine needle aspiration performed for the left parotid lesion suggests Warthin tumor.
