Average size thyroid gland with diffusely heterogenous parenchymal echotexture, suggestive of thyroiditis (likely Hashimoto's thyroiditis). Small well-defined hyperechoic nodule in the left lobe, which is of low suspicion for malignancy according to the ATA guidelines for assessment of thyroid nodules. US-guided FNAC of this nodule showed Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
