Ileocolic intussusception. At surgery a cecal cancer was confirmed as the lead point and a right hemicolectomy performed. Only bowel that is mobile (ie. on a mesentery) is able to intussuscept and it is important to remember that, unlike the ascending colon which is retroperitoneal, the cecum is generally somewhat mobile on a mesentery.
