MRI
There is a partially calcified mass primarily centered within the frontal horn of the left lateral ventricle. Postcontrast sequences also demonstrate ill-defined nodular enhancement within the dominant component of the mass centered within the left frontal horn. There is extrusion of nonenhancing soft tissue through the left foremen of Monroe into the third ventricle. Additionally, there is intermediate T2 signal soft tissue along the ependymal lining of the frontal and occipital horns of both lateral ventricles. The intraventricular mass results in diffuse enlargement of the
supratentorial ventricular system. The fourth ventricle is normal in caliber.
